BSA B-31 suggested spares

I bought a 1947 BSA B-31 in Burma and want to stock up on spares when I am there next week.

Any suggestions as to what to buy to support this bike long term. It is now completely rebuilt but for the tank and cases, but I need to support it in Thailand and needless to say obtaining spares here is impossible.
Gaskets, seals, sprockets is obvious but what other B-31 parts are commonly needed

If obtaining spares "here" means the UK, then I would say that "here" we have Draganfly, Burton Bike Bits etc etc all supplying just about anything you will ever need and of quality too, whereas you will only likely get a few pattern parts in Burma.

What to buy, or more importantly what are the problem parts, or what is unobtainable on this bike

mag/dyno parts are usefull , a spare rewound armiture if you can fit is always good ( the bearing race reqs a puller to be on the safe side ) , motors are good but slow and this bike is heavy so a b33 topend and piston is a usefull mod .

You've lost me there. If there's "loads" of NOS stuff in Burma then why do you want to take some there?

I live in Thailand, the bike is in Burma. I am going next week to approve the work and make the final acceptance payment.
I then will import the bike to Thailand, where there are no parts.
Burma is full of parts and since commerce is still not yet open, and there is no international banking system in place, it is prudent to buy spares now when I am there.

Once again, what to buy?

Ahh right, now I understand, "here" isn't the UK but Thailand.

Unless you're planning on doing many thousands of miles (and if you were, you'd buy Japanese surely) then it's unlikely you'll need much at all in the way of spares for the old BSA.
Probably worth taking a gasket set, points, chain, bulbs etc but are you really going to be wearing out sprockets etc?

You get some great weather overthere; so i hope you enjoy riding your B31.
Good reliable bikes these. Depending on the bolts used on the bike you will probably need a good set of Whitworth spanners and sockets. The threads into alloy such as timing chest cover etc are Whitworth so a set of taps and dies for said thread type. I would get some taps and dies for whatever thread type the nuts and bolts are. BSA typicaly use 26tpi cycle thread also called brass.
Sizes might be 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2 etc. I would get a set of magneto spanners aswell; usefull to have for a little roadside breakdown.
Spare plugs, points, solderless nipples, feeler gauges are all useful things to carry with you on a ride.
