Lycett Aero saddle elastics?

Hi,

I'm trying to rebuild a 1932 Lycett Aero saddle in an authentic way, but I can't find the elastics or the clips that hold them on to the saddle frame. I recall these were available some years ago, but I can't find them now. I see many sets of springs, but I want to use elastics. Any ideas?

The elastic cord is availiable, from Macadam Deux Roues they are called Sandows, they do various fittings as a lot of french bikes used similar.

the fittings for Lycetts are hard to find I don't know if anyone reproduces them.
If you can copy them I can let you have one.

Hi Leon,
The elastic is available from sailing chandlers, known as "shock cord"
I'm reasonably sure my Brother got the fittings from this ebay seller, ann60.7771
Is this saddle for the Rudge?
Did you get the PM I sent regarding the thick Rudge clutch plain plate?

Brilliant - thanks gentlemen. I'll chase those down. I have the seat frame - yes it is for a Rudge - and this is the sort of effect I'm looking to reproduce. The Lycett Aero Saddle was originally called the Lycett Aero Elastic Saddle, and not surprisingly featured aero elastics instead of springs.
