1957 Ariel ID

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could provide a bit more info on this bike. All I know is it's a 1957 Ariel.

I don't know a great deal about motorbikes and less about Ariel motorbikes. To me it looks like a Square Four MkII, but it's a guess. I'm sure someone here will be able to tell immediately what it is.

For the best information I would suggest the Ariel Owners club, they dont usually bite!! LOL

Hi John,

Thanks for the info, I have registered over there and am awaiting approval from an admin.

It probably is mostly original, I think it has been parked up for a long time. It lives a couple of hours from where I am, so I can't get any frame numbers etc. for it at the moment.
