1957 Peugeot 125 TAL

Hi, i've just bought a lovely 1957 Peugeot 125 TAL.
I have never had an old french bike like this before so would appreciate some help please.
First of all, has anyone got, or know where i can get a manual for it?
I need to change the gearbox oil but do not know how much to put in or what type to use.
At the moment, the clutch is stuck (i think) not disengaging, my thoughts are to try to start it in gear on the stand and keep jumping on the brake once warmed up, does that sound like a good idea?
It is very original, but has been standing around for a long time, i've already taken the tank off and cleaned it and the fuel tap out nicely so that it now starts easily from the fuel tank.
I have just read a few old posts, it sounds like there are no manuals out there. I do have all the paperwork for it though, so i am ok there.

This is like a self help forum  , i just sorted out the clutch by my own question as well.
Still need help with the Oil though please?

Hi,
Theres probably an oil level screw somewhere on the primary case? or a dipstick on the filler cap??
If the gearbox shares the oil with the clutch, then I would use either a straight grade mineral oil (Castrol XL 40?)
or a motorcycle multigrade for bikes with a wet clutch

Here is the bike.

I don't really know what i'm doing with the Oil, i tried topping it up as suggested, but the fact that it started spewing out everywhere once started tells me that i over filled it.
Thanks for the suggestions folks but I'm guessing by the lack of responses that this is probably not the best forum for my kind of bike?
I'll see if i can find a friendly local bike shop who does two strokes and see how it goes from there.

I assume from the reg on the van,the two Velosolex and the Mobylette in the back ground,aswell as the Antar oilcan that you are in France?
Good place to start.

Nice little bike and makes a change from the usual imported wrecks seen here.

Hard as it may seem, you might have to accept that, outside of France, there is little interest in 1950s french two strokes.
