Bike starts misfiring when I switch lights on, or use indicators..Brake light not affecting running....Electrics are not my Forte, so would appreciate hints on where to start looking.

Does it have a Boyer Bransden ignition fitted?
As their operation can be affected by low voltage, possibly the battery is in need of replacement if switching the lights on causes this problem? There could be a charging system fault but the battery condition should be checked first.
How old is the battery?
