Hi everyone,
I am new to the site and love it. I have a question for you experts out there. LMC which I beleive to be Lloyd Motor Co, situated in Birmingham....Well does anyone have any info on this company and their motorcycles.

There are a couple of LMC listed in the VMCC Register of Machines.
I would suggest you browse through the VMCC Library on line to see what they hold on the make plus if you live within a reasonable distance of their HQ you can browse through their runs of early magazines and find out even more.

Lloyd Motor Engineering Co. Ltd., a former British motorbike manufacturer (W.A. Lloyd, Cycle Fittings, Clyde Works, later Lloyd Motor Engineering Co. Ltd., Birmingham (1907-1923))

I seem to recall that there was a connection between LMC and AKD (Abingdon King Dick, also of Birmingham <http://www.cybermotorcycle.com/euro/brands/abingdon.htm>). I think that LMC may have been just a rebadged AKD. But don't quote me on that for I might be wrong!

I have a basketcase 1911 LMC.
LMC were tied up with Overseas not AKD.

G'day all
A friend of mine has just acquired a 1907 LMC minus engine.....could I please ask all who are using such as doorstops to contact me and I am sure a deal could be arranged!
