I have a Tribsa with a pre unit bonnie engine fitted it has concenric carbs on at the moment which i think are a bit worn, as I cant get agood all round setting just wonderd if i could fit some other type and what jets etc to use

Burlen Fuel Systems make new Amal carbs if you want to keep your Bonnie engine 'original'. (
www.amalcarb.co.uk
). They will build a carb to the exact specs of the original carbs supplied. The chopped monoblocks have been a bit hasslesome on my bike and I would definitely go for 'unchopped(!)' if given the choice although both types of monoblock are about twice as expensive as the equivalent concentrics. H_N
