thank you for your support !

Douglas, the bike is in good condition.
the engine works and sounds great!
the petrol tank was repaired and repainted
from the precedent owner in a wrong way.
I want to register this bike as an historical vehicle
so the colour must be the right one.
there are some other minor things to fix like the exhaust
pipes that are broken

The correct shade of green for your tank should be Brunswick Green. You may find it difficult to match that shade of green outside of the UK if you ask for it by that name as I think it was specific to BSA (i don't know for certain). What you also have to remember is that as the paints were mixed by hand, batch by batch, that they wern't all exactly the same. The green on your tank dosen't look to far away from the original colour in your photo.

Thank you to everybody ,i found the right colour.
The  restoration is going on and i hope that in one month the  bike will be finished.
Now i need another help: i have to buy two toolboxs of this type that were mounted over the rear whell.

I wasn't able to find them in Italy, any suggestions for shops that sell this item are welcomed.

bye, Giovanni.
