I have 3 1964 Releigh Motorcycles,

I expect they are mopeds rather than motorcycles, as Raleigh had ceased making proper motorcycles a long while before 1964? So they would not be worth an awful lot, unless they were in immaculate condition?

If you are correct in your identification your 1964 Raleighs are in effect rebadged Motobecane Mobylettes (quite good mopeds). If they have small wheels they are the later 1967 on Raleigh Wisp. Mopeds have their own enthusiastic following and various clubs cater for them. The major one is the NACC, National Autocycle & Cyclemotor Club. They have a website. Google it. Information and help is readily available through them. Mopeds definitely fall into the cheap fun end of motorcycling. A huge amount of fun at little expense.

That's a Raleigh Runabout.

I expect the registration number YHM 77 (if the bike has a V5?) would be worth more than the bike itself?

As that registration number has no year letter I'd say it was earlier than 1964? In fact, earlier than Feb 1963 when year letters were introduced (A,B,C etc.)? But, -according to the Raleigh website, the Runabout model wasn't introduced until May 1963?

HM would be the registration code for the East Ham district.

If you search (on Google?) "number plates" you should find plenty of information?

But selling the registration numbers may not be that easy if no V5 or V5C registration documents were issued for those numbers?
