F4215 possibly?

Is it a stamped number or a cast-in number? As casting numbers are often close to, but not identical to the part number.

F4215 (later part was 82-4215) is the part number for a R/H Triumph unit 350/500 footrest. The L/H footrest was part F4214 (82-4214).

Both of those footrests appear to have been used for most, if not all, unit 350/500 model years.

L.A.B. the number is cast in and having cleaned it up the last number looks like a 4 which ties in with the numbers you gave,as said before these are a taper fit rather than the locating dowel type as fitted to the pre units,i was hoping they may be for a rigid as i need the footrest assembly for my 52 tbird project, would you know what the part numbers should be for this year.thanks steve

According to the '52 list for 5T, 6T and T100, the footrests were part F987 L/H, and F1731 R/H.

The R/H side footrest also appears to be in two pieces, its mounting being part F1736.

The parts diagram seems to show the L/H footrest has a short spacer (T87) between it and the F1811 frame mounting plate, and the footrest assemblies fit each end of a long stud F991 that passes through the mounting plates, with spacer F862 between the two plates. The R/H plate is part F1811A.
