Royal enfield engine number
« on: December 29, 2008, 06:10:19 PM »
Hi, in 1974 I bought a Royal Enfield 350cc model G. The engine number is 7367 but i cant to know about year and facts of the construction of this bike. She is 98% original (less exhaust lever, pilot rear light and a little things). I live in Argentina. Thanks a lot for help.

Unless someone here in this group has a machine of the same year and model that can help with the numbers then LAB's advice is best - contact the REOC.

Enfield numbers have no real form or function as other British makes do but the owner's club have the ledgers for any machine that left the factory

I think 7367 put it about 1947 but is it definatly a model G? The number should be G7367 or at least have a letter G somewhere! If its a 350cc model CO it could be 1942.
