I occasionally used it years ago but came to the conclusion that the only thing that got extra lubrication was the manufacturers palm. With modern oils I really don't think there is a need for them. I tried something similar out of desperation in my Land Rover engine a few years ago but wasn't surprised when none of their claims came to anything.

The old Filtrate Colloidal Graphite did the same job, I still have the remains of a gallon can of it. It worked well in the 1950s oils. It was good stuff.

I used to tip a can of STP into the oil tank of my old Triumphs when I rode them, it took up a lot of slack in my worn engines.

In the 1970s I ran a 400e Ford Thames van, I fitted Cord rings to it and ran it on a mix of 40grade oil and STP; you could not hear it ticking over, had to rev it at traffic lights to check it was still running. MInd you I had two walloping great batteries fitted in it to turn it over from cold.

rambling somewhat off the topic, but what the heck just had my last glass of rum.

Sounds like Goanna oil to me, smooth sales pitch with lots of graphs.
If you engine is in good condition then why bother with these products?

I think it sounds very interesting: if the tests are to be believed it seems to work very well. That said, let me guess you'd be hard pressed to identify how much longer your motor would last before its next rebore, or whether you'd get better fuel mileage with this in your oil. And it's not cheap.

Graphene is fabulous (fabulously interesting) stuff, and amazingly was discovered only relatively recently.

There has been a lot of talk about the effect on older style motors of removing zinc from oils. Because my bikes are weird and will never be asked to cover high mileage or perform near peak output, I'm lucky I don't have to worry too much about whether to add fancy stuff to my oil.

Cheers
